How would you describe yourself?
I am a very quite person, pretty energetic when am around people I’m comfortable with. Learning something new everyday motivates me to rise early. Design lights up my mood, talking about design never ends when you’re with me. I’m very easy to get along with, and I look forward to networking with like-minded individuals.
How did you become a logo designer?
Ever since I was little I loved sketching on the back of all my notebooks. I usually got into a lot of trouble for doing that.
What led you to create your first logo design?
I designed my first logo when my brother was working on a web-app and he urgently needed a logo. I had little knowledge in Photoshop so I decided to design a logo since then I’ve been working on logos.

I worked on the visual identity of a logistics company I co-founded, sadly we had to put the project on hold due to insufficient financing.

In your personal opinion, why should companies invest in their logo design?
A logo is the first visual representation your company has, in essence, a logo is your company’s representative in it’s the smallest form, it’s the first thing people see when they learn about a company.

Do you remember a challenging logo design project? How did you overcome it?
I remember working on Swiss Transport’s logo. I sketched multiple iterations, and I just couldn’t come up with a solid idea that I felt represented the company. After taking a week break and playing soccer a lot I came up with multiple solid ideas.
How do you kick-start a new logo design project?
I first conduct a design brief so I can learn all about the project’s goals, vision, success metric, etc. Then I pick out words that best represent the brand’s values. A visual research is then conducted to find visuals that match the brand’s values.

I met an entrepreneur in 2017; He ran a business that was focused on helping millennials excel in their life. His previous logo didn’t translate well on multiple platforms. I offered to redesign the logo and he agreed, just days after the new logo was officially launched, the engagement on his social platforms increased.
